I need some help so I guess I should post here.

Hi I'm new. But, I'm trying to model this Puppycat from Bee and Puppycat. The problem is how do I do the bow and arms. Do I make them a separate mesh?

I'm finally having fun with 3D art. I hope this continues. I hope if I sink in enough free time in a year or so I can become good.
