I've just learned there is a very simple option to check when importing FBX items to blender.

uncheck "Use Pre/Post Rotation" under MAIN
check "Automatic Bone Orientation" under ARMATURES
Daz exported FBX's should load mostly fine, however the shaders dont appear to have transferred all values. You'll have to manually setup from there but its progress!

picrelated for example. Seems like it only applied a base diffuse texture to everything. No transparency in hair or eyelashes.
