I work entirely remotely from a laptop, including zbrush.

>16GB Ram, i7, 512GB SSD, 4GB GTX1050Ti

Nintendo Switch L Joycon
>using software to map the buttons to Alt, Ctrl, Shift, Tab etc etc

recently finished pic related, made entirely and only with the above 3 things. Zbrush, Max, Painter, whole lot with those 3 pieces of hardware and that's it.

You can fold the laptop up and draw on the screen like a cintiq with the pen, and control everything you need for 90% of stuff with the joycon. You cannot use hotkeys though and need to rely on your own custom UI for Zbrush to do what you need, same deal with max etc, but that's easy because those 2 programs let you do all sorts of shit with macro and script and plug stuff.


I'm literally working a main games job and freelance from this laptop and doing just fine. Don't even need a tower anymore, to the point where I'm considering instead of buying a home, buying a really nice camper van, solar generator, barbeque and kitting out the van with TV and smart shit and just traveling around the coast surfing during the day and working at night.

Armour set I'm working on for a mod, textures aren't done yet
