Yes, unfortunately.

Never set a goal to be as good as someone else, set a goal to be better than someone else.
With enough practice (like a year or two at most), you can get to this level. It's not even a high level like I said.
The dude knows some basic art stuff too (looking at the lighting), but that's something that's easy enough to pick up with practice, just like everything else.

You'd be amazed at how easy it is for the average Joe to pull off materials and visuals like this (which the materials are doing a lot of the heavy lifting). All it takes is things like Substance Painter, or even just a Quixel or Substance Source subscription (pic related is a section of SS's "Organic" section). It really extends your ability to make something look well done, even when it's actually pretty average or shit.
But yeah, get some 3d experience under your belt, and you'll start to see how this shit is pulled off. You might not be able to replicate it, but you'll be able to understand how it's done.
