I'm opening this thread again so you don't keep opening new threads just to ask a random question.

I also wanted to talk about something - do you guys respond to every job offer email you get or do you ignore them? I've got a few I wasn't interested in that I just ended up not responding to at all, but I don't know if it's a good idea to keep doing that.

What if proposals are some BS like "ayy, I'd like to work with you" with no description whatsoever, or invites to work on something "for free" (even if part time) until they get some funding? What should I do about those?

New one.

Wanted to say that I'm honestly really surprised with the Blender 2.8 alpha release. UI redesign is better than I expected it to be, and new options are sweet, to say the least. Have you tried it out yet?

But I have a feeling that since so many people were complaining about the usability that they went a bit too far in some areas. Lol'd hard when I realized they even placed a mini tutorial on the bottom about what mouse buttons to press to move around the viewport. Now if THAT is not enough for you to figure out how to use it, then there is no hope. Also nice tabs on the top, reminds me of Modo, which is super comfy.

Too bad it will still take a while for it to be production ready, but since I'm a hobbyist anyway, I might start using it right now.

What are good ways to showcase textureless models and scenes? I don't feel like texturing everything I make, and I've been putting everything into Marmoset Toolbag 3 and shoving the AO up my own ass.

(Not my artwork, it's by Albert Valls Punsich)
