I'm kind of confused. why do the maya lights work better than the arnold lights? they render faster and produce superior volumetric scattering. is there any reason for the ai area light to exist?

does arnold not support lens flares in maya? The opticalFX only seems to be working in maya software and there's nothing in the arnold documentation about lens flares.

how do you avoid rotation flipping in maya with values >360? It seems silly to just press euler filter every time it happens

how many pictures do you need for a passable result?

Can you just take a video of something spinning with a high framerate and split each frame to use as an image?
