The first thing you'd need to do is make sure that the mesh you're looking to rig is lined up with the Genesis 3 T-pose. Most games use an A-pose (see pic related). I sometimes download XNALara models wherein I use XNALara to adjust the pose so that it lines up with the Gen 3 T-pose, but if the model doesn't have a skeleton you're gonna have to do it manually. This can be done in your 3D modeling program of choice. I personally use Zbrush, but Blender also works in my experience.

Do you have any experience in using 3D modeling programs? I could write it out for you but I don't wanna waste your time if you already know these things.
