It might look like that to you because I only talk about this whenever I feel particularly down and, in turn, always blow this shit out of proportion, but I'm not against people earning cash from adult stuff either. But, as you said yourself:

That's the gripe I have with it. And only adult stuff enables this shit.
And on top of it, there's the fact that this guy was given the chance of not just do whatever he wants full-time and learn as he goes, but also become stupidly rich, and is throwing it all away. But nobody bats an eye to that, as you correctly pointed out.
How many people in this field out there are game devs on the side, including you and me, and would kill for the same opportunity? Quite literally and earnestly EVERYONE, that's how many.
And, for me, add that I crawled my way out of the filthy depths of the furry fandom just to prove to myself that I could reach the top even while being a furfag with furry stuff in my folio. I mean, there's a reason why I'm so pissed at this thing in particular and not at any of the countless instances out there of people getting something they don't deserve.
Seriously, with all the shit I had to put up with, it's amazing how I managed to keep my sanity and not become a mass murderer.
