Oh man I was thinking about getting everything in Maya and try rendering with arnold but it seems like setting up everything would be a bit of a pain. Can you post results if you ever attempt to do it just to see if it'll be worth it? I read that those dudes that make porn from affect3d used maya and redshift for their latest video, so maybe it is worth it.
